Shoppers with a keen eye for value will bag a bargain at Anglicare’s latest store in Narellan. Reopening its doors next Thursday at 9.00am at Narellan Shopping Centre, the new store will stock quality fashion items as well as some décor for the home.
The shop closed temporarily in January when renovations to the centre meant it needed to be relocated to another site.
“We are excited to be back,” says Stephen Kuo, Anglicare’s Head of Retail.
“Our Narellan shop has been here for more than twenty years providing affordable quality fashion items to people in the community. Over the years, it has become more than just another store, but a place where people can meet others and connect with services that Anglicare provides in the area.
“We’ve had some lovely customers contact us when we announced our temporary closure last year asking when we would reopen. Well, now we are back and looking forward to serving the community for many more years.”
Two staff and 10 volunteers were affected by the temporary closure. With the reopening, all affected members will be returning to run the shop.
Stephen hopes the shop will not only provide great clothes and accessories, but continue to be a place where people in the community feel welcomed.
“There are great bargains to be had in our store, and the funds from the shop go to support our many Anglicare programs throughout Sydney and the Illawarra. We also want the shop to be a place that is socially inclusive, where people from all walks of life can come in and be cared for.”
