Every home care package looks different and may comprise care hours, equipment, transport as well as allied health services. Rather than specifying hours of care per package we individualise our care depending on our clients’ needs ensuring the funding is allocated to whichever services work best for the client’s goals and support families.
Anglicare At Home charge no out of pocket expenses to our clients, we do not charge the basic daily care fee.
Clients are welcome to contribute to their package if they wish to receive additional services.
There may be additional fees, as determined by the Government’s Income Tested Care Fees. However, clients receiving a full pension will not be required to pay an income tested care fee.
Anglicare can assist you to navigate the process to completing the assessment required, as well as any hardship applications if there is a need to do so.
We have a range of services to help meet your needs and achieve your goals. Most commonly our care workers are available to help you around the house including with cleaning and cooking, take you shopping or to appointments, but our services are not limited to face to face care, we can organise equipment to keep you safe in your home.
What services you access through your funding will be determined through consultation with you and your family to understand what is going to be the best for you.
If charged, this fee always comes out of the home care package and never from your own pocket. If you are leaving Anglicare and don't have funds remaining in your package then we won't charge the fee. The exit fee ensures a swift transition. Some providers, whilst not charging an exit fee, can impose lengthy notice periods which limit your ability to exercise choice. Anglicare requires 7 days' notice period if you choose to exit.
